Our Story
Bayside Finishes is a young, vibrant new venture focused in providing quality building finishes materials to the Tanzanian market.
Founded in January 2016, Bayside is the sole authorized distributor and installer for Armstrong DLW Flooring in Tanzania, providing high quality resilient flooring products. Bayside is also authorized to distribute carpeting products by Milliken, the leading US carpet manufacturer. Our stock showcases a variety of products for a range of uses from commercial to healthcare, hospitality to residential.
Our mission is to provide responsive and unrivaled customer service in bringing quality, tasteful building materials with special attention to the budget and functional requirements. Our vision is to provide a complete fit out package that initiates with design, leads on to supply and ultimately build to complete the project.

Our Team
Ali R Nasser, BSc
Director
A founding director of Bayside Finishes, Ali Nasser is a registered glazing contractor with Bachelor of Science degree from York University in Canada.
With over ten years of construction experience in Dubai and Tanzania, Ali is well versed in the industry. Ali has been able to acquire distributorships for Bayside Finishes with Armstrong DLW Flooring GmBH as well as Milliken, leading German and American flooring manufacturers respectively.
Ali persistently draws on his ties to the business community and associates in identifying potential projects that would benefit from these products and practices.
Lulu H Alliy, BSc MEng
Director
Lulu H Alliy, co founding director of Bayside Finishes, is a registered consulting engineer with a Masters degree from Cornell University in the US and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University in Canada.
With twenty years of practical civil engineering experience pertaining to design, supervision and construction administration of projects in the US and Tanzania, she has always had a passion for building interiors and fit out.
In September 2015, Lulu managed the fit out of Tanconsult Ltd, the engineering firm where she serves as a director. It was during this period that she realized the limited availability of quality building finishes materials in Tanzania, hence the birth of Bayside Finishes.
